busting heads

More than hundred times a day we come up with excuses.

Convinced that everyone but self is wrong.
Convinced that everyone but self doesn't know.
Convinced that everyone but self is in the dark.

If in our head, we can create so many excuses,
if we can repeatedly motivate and forgive ourselves,
how do we miss to treat others equally and the same?

How do we miss the fact that the amount of hatred we have for ourselves
deliver itself to the eyes of others, through our words and action?
How do we miss that it can be as difficult or even more for others just like it is for us?
Perhaps in the exact opposite.

We claim that we know.
But we never really do.
That's our greatest talent of all.

Bust our heads,
making excuses.
Claiming righteous,
putting blame,
letting go responsibility.

Only by realising that life is temporary,
can these all be excused.
